中国は昨年5月から特許オープン ライセンス試行作業を開始し、これまでの成約件数が約8000件に達し、良い成果を上げている。今年上半期の知的財産権活動を説明するために開かれた記者発表会で、中国国家知識産権局（CNIPA）知的財産権運用促進司の責任者が明らかにした。
6月末時点のデータによると、これまでに22の省・自治区・直轄市の1500以上の権利者が試行作業に参加し、3万5000件以上のオープンライセンスプロジェクトを出した。企業の需要を分析した上で、これらの情報は7万6000社の中小企業にプッシュされ、成約件数は約8000に達している。
試行作業に参加した専利権者には、600以上の大学、研究機関と900社以上の企業が含まれる。1100件の特許は、「一対多」モデルにより1つの特許が複数の企業にライセンスされ、ライセンスの効率向上に確実につながったとされている。
